Malindi Prison Benefits From Rotarians Drugs Donation

The Rotary Club of Malindi joined hands with the Karibu Onlus NGO to delivered essential medicines to the Malindi Prison. These medicines were needed to treat common illnesses, infections, allergies, skin problems, asthma, diarrhoea and more.

The drugs value at about 100,000 shillings was generously donated by the members of the Rotary Club of Malindi. They prison has a population of about 1,000 prisoners. During their visit to the prison, the Rotarians also spent time mentoring the inmates, to boost their morale and help with their rehabilitation. The Rotary Club of Malindi and its partners will continue to work on the project. Their goal is to keep improving the health and well-being of the prisoners.
