Rotary District 9212 Begins $1 million Fundraising for The Rotary Foundation

Rotary District 9212, which covers Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Eritrea has begun a campaign dubbed Jenga Foundation to raise $1 million for The Rotary Foundation during the year 2023-24.

“Support the JENGA FOUNDATION so that together, we can build a brighter future for our communities,’’ District Governor Leonard Ithau said.

Jenga is the Swahili word for build and Rotarians and Rotaractors in the District can choose any of the following giving levels or donate any other amount that suits your capacity and passion for service.
Choose your giving level:

*Chui/Leopard/አቦሸማኔ* level: ETB 155/KES425/$3 per club meeting.
*Buffalo/Nyati/ ጎሽ* level: ETB 388/KES1,135/$8 per club meeting.
*Kifaru/Rhino/አውራሪስ* level: ETB 2,000/KES5,000/$35 per club meeting.
*Ndovu/Elephant/ዝሆን* level: ETB 4,000/KES 10,000/$70 per club meeting.
*Simba/Lion/አንበሳ* level: Attain Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) status with a donation of ETB 27,300/KES71,000/$500.

The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International and helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. Since it was founded in 1917, The Rotary Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
