Partnership in Action |RC Nairobi East & RC Lavington Jioni

The Rotary Club of Nairobi East in partnership with the Rotary Club of Lavington Jioni distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) to health facilities in the informal settlements of Nairobi as part of the District 9212 COVID response initiatives. The Personal Protective Equipments were donations received from the CFAO Group, and the beneficiary clinics are part of the Tunza clinics franchise.

RC Lavington Jioni distributed the PPE’s to

  1. Bodaki Medical Centre located in Gatina, Kawangware
    while RC Nairobi East distributed to
  2. Glory Medical Centre, Kawangware
  3. Mkunga Maternity & Nursing Home, Dandora
  4. Mary’s Health Centre, Kibera

The health care facilities received medical supplies including gloves, face masks, coveralls, gum boots, sanitizers, liquid soap, and goggles.

This initiative brought smiles to the frontline health care providers. The outreach outcome will play an integral role in prevention of transmission of infection in the healthcare setting.
