Honor in Service|

Dear Friends and Family of Rotary,

I truly hope and pray that you, your family and loved ones are keeping well and safe. The tides of our season have shifted unexpectedly with the emergence of the COVID-19 virus, bringing shock, devastation and indescribable loss in it’s wake.

It’s in the midst of chaos and devastation that our Rotary Spirit fuels the core of our compassion. Rotarians across our great district continue to do good by raising funds to meet the needs of vulnerable communities all around us.

I see and feel the Rotary Spirit raging on through our virtual weekly meetings, planning sessions to martial resources bringing hope even in the midst of of the COVID-19 outbreak.

In the world of Rotary, we drill our focus on Maternal and Child Health, in April with greater focus during this pandemic by providing access to high quality, safe and affordable healthcare not only to vulnerable mothers and children but also vulnerable communities in our district so they they can live longer and healthier.

As Rotarians “We expand access to quality care, so mothers and children (and vulnerable communities) everywhere can have the same opportunities for a healthy future. An estimated 5.9 million children under the age of five die each year because of malnutrition, inadequate health care, and poor sanitation — all of which can be prevented.”

There is soo much more we can continue to do even in the midst of this unexpectedly challenging season, with your donation we can continue to make this possible. Will you  join us in making a difference?

What IMPACT can ‘Your’ DONATION have?

  • With Ksh. 1,500 (USD 15) you could provide a family with a food hamper.
  • With Ksh. 3,000 (USD 30) you could provide protective equipment and vital items for frontline medical staff.
  • With Ksh. 4,000 (USD 40) you could provide a community with a one hundred (100) litre Water Tank equipped with a tap, soap and will be regularly filled with clean water.

Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world…”
