Health Care Front-liners Recognition Program By Rotary Club of Mombasa
Dear Classmates and Peers,
Heartiest Congratulations to all Presidents and their teams on the colorful installations, mostly back to back with imaginary flights and presidents suites. The energy and commitment reflected by District Governor Patrick Obath and team is commendable. On July 18th, 2020 Rotary Club of Mombasa had its third ‘Health Care Front-liners Recognition Program’ at Pandya Memorial Hospital after Mombasa Hospital and Coast General Hospital visitations. A great feeling saying ‘THANK YOU’ to those who have laid their lives and those of their families for our sake🏽. Each distribution in the region costs 3000 U.S to 4000 U.S and the funds are raised from members/ friends/ partnerships with corporations under pandemic restrictions. We hope to recognize and thank 3 more hospitals in Mombasa, if funds are enough. We have so far received media coverage from Baraka FM, NTV Swahili news and NTV online YouTube channel.
This program is distinct from the food distribution and borehole projects with the County Government of Mombasa. A large borehole project serving 16,000 residents is ready for commissioning.
