Service of GIVING
“Help others without any reason and give without the expectation of receiving anything in return.” – Roy T. Bennett
It’s almost Christmas! December brings with it the celebratory promise of warmth; hot cup of chai WARMTH after a tummy full of Mum’s chapati and beef stew, soul filling WARMTH after making your end year donation to the less privileged, tight hug WARMTH from siblings we barely got time to bond with during the year and yes, Jesus died on the cross and saved my life WARMTH. This season is usually a reminder of the necessity of giving; a concept behind Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self.
