Happy New Rotary Year, fellow changemakers!

It is a strange feeling, waiting for time. A year ago today I was starting to enjoy being referred to as DeaRRE. I blinked twice and now we’re here, feet eager and a road stretching far into the distance.

We have worked tirelessly, preparing our leaders, our clubs and our members to take on the RI President’s challenge to Serve to Change Lives, and push ourselves further into Rotary’s future. In 2021-2022 we are continuing the journey of elevating Rotaract. By focusing on member engagement, we seek to grow more and do more as challenged by President Shekhar.

Join us in bringing our Rotaract Clubs to the next level of impact in our communities through innovative problem solving, collaboration and sustainable action. Let us bring our impact to the world through a greater focus on the Rotary Foundation and International Service. Let us impact ourselves through programs for Rotaractors to develop as leaders (RYLA) and professionals (Rotaract@Work and Kazi-Connect). Through technologies that will enable us to share opportunities, collaborate, monitor our growth and impact in real time, we are creating a more responsive Rotaract for a rapidly changing environment.

This year, let us serve with empathy, connecting with each other as humans to create change that lasts and resonates across borders, languages, cultures and generations like a certain famous song. Let us serve with One Love.
