District 9212 Election Outcome For 2019-20
Every year at the district assembly Rotarians transact the business of Rotary to comply with the bylaws and constitution of Rotary International. The Coronavirus pandemic disrupted many of our activities and last year these procedures were therefore carried out using digital channels.
The required voting for the RI Director Nomination Committee and the Council of Legislation Representative was performed through a digital ballot by the voting delegates appointed by clubs in the district.
The results of the district elections are as follows:-
- PDG Richard Omwela – RI Director Nominating Committee Member
- PDG Harry Mugo – RI Director Nominating Committee Alternate Member
- PDG Dr. Geeta Manek – Council Of Legislation Representative
- PDG Teshome – Council Of Legislation Alternate Representative
PDG Richard Omwela and PDG Harry Mugo will serve will serve a one-year term in their respective roles while PDG Geeta Manek and PDG Teshome Kebede will each serve three-year terms in their respective roles effective as of Wednesday July 1st 2020.
