PZ Cussons’ Imperial Leather, Rotary Begin Ksh10 million Campaign.

Personal care products manufacturer PZ Cussons and Rotary District 9212 agreed to a partnership that will increase at least one million Kenyans’ access to water and sanitation facilities.

Under the initiative dubbed ‘Caring for Kenya’, PZ Cussons will invest about 10 million shillings through its flagship brand, Imperial Leather, to ensure that more Kenyans have access to clean water for better personal hygiene.
 

“We are in the throes of a global pandemic that has, for the last four months, confounded scientists and common wananchi alike,’’ PZ Cussons Kenya Managing Director Sekar Ramamoorthy said.  ”Yet, its prevention measures have come down to a simple, but an effective step we are advised to take as individuals- good personal hygiene, avoiding crowds and maintaining a safe social distance.’’

The Caring for Kenya campaign is underpinned by the PZ Cussons Good 4 Business ethos, a global standard that the firm follows in engaging with the community where it operates and ensuring that it builds a sustainable operation that also takes care of the people and the environment.

The public will have an opportunity to contribute to the effort, by PZ Cussons contributing 10 shillings from each Imperial Leather participating products purchased locally for the next two months.
