Interact Club of Oshwal Academy Mombasa (OAM) in conjuction with Rotary Club of Mombasa jointly sank a borehole in Malindi. OAM is the first ever Interact Club to do a solar powered borehole worldwide (as far as our research under Rotary International).

The solar powered borehole is located in St. Andrews school which caters to over 10,000 people living in that area including 2,100 from the school itself. Furthermore, it is worth bringing to your attention that it is maintenance free and a fresh water borehole (for more caution we have promised a permanent supply of water purification tablets) safe for human consumption as well.
