INSTALLATION OF ROYALTY: RC MUTHAIGA

The date? 15^th June 2019. The night that the moon and stars refused to rise and shine. You know why? Because RC Muthaiga had its installation and the stars just wanted to sit back and watch this glamour.

You have not seen a party until you have been to an RC Muthiaga installation. The outgoing president, PP Jimia Yassin was handing over the reins of power to President Paul Kasimu.

‘Bedazzled’, and ‘lit’ are the words for it. How can it not be lit, when two PDG’s; Geeta and Kaushik Manek were in attendance? How can it not be charming when various district and country leaders were in attendance? How can it not be the IT, when the ladies were dressed to kill? And the men were out to charm?

DG Joe Otin  graced the occasion, and when he rose up to speak, we couldn’t help but wonder: “How does he manage to look dapper all year round?” But then Joe is swift with his punch lines, and a moment later, we are all going ‘Ka-ching-ching.”

DG Joe lauded RCMuthaiga as an ‘Over-Achieving Club’, which serves as an example for most clubs within the district. The Club remains unrivaled in the kind of grants and projects that it takes up. Our candle shines bright, we can only take Rotary to the next level.

And as President Paul would put it: “We are elevating the game.”
